What is counselling?

Counselling is a talking therapy. Our counsellors and psychotherapists work with people to help them make sense of what is going on for them, to understand their feelings and to work out ways to tackle their problems.

Who do you work with?

Our team work with both adults and children aged 5 upwards as well as offering relationship counselling for couples. Some children we see in their schools, others here at our base in Madeley, Telford and with children we use play to help them express their emotions. We have appointments available in the day as well as some evenings. In some instances our counsellors are able to see clients in Shrewsbury.

What sort of things do we deal with?

Our counsellors have worked with clients dealing with many different issues, at all ages from children to adults. It’s hard to put down a comprehensive list of things that people might want to see a counsellor about, we’re here to work with you whatever is causing your distress.
