We’re a small counselling charity set up in 2003 to support the community of Telford and Shropshire. Originally our counsellors focused on work around alcohol and drug addiction, but since then we’ve broadened our scope to work with a range of mental health issues.

Now our team is a lot bigger and we’ve a great team of admin staff, counsellors and psychotherapists. We’re organisational members of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and all our counsellors are either registered or accredited members of the BACP or other counselling professional bodies and cover a wide range of specialties and experience. Between us we’ve worked with clients at every age, counselling adults and children going through a variety of life experiences and issues, whether it’s anxiety, depression, eating disorders or gambling addiction. Want to meet the team? Take a look here.

Our mission? Well as you can see above, we want to ensure that everyone in Telford and Wrekin, as well as the surrounding areas, has access to high quality counselling – whether children or adults. We are passionate about improving the mental well being of our community, that’s why we are here.

As a registered UK charity (no. 1096013) we are governed by a team of trustees. To find out more about our trustees and what they do then check out our Trustees page.

We’re members of the Shropshire Chamber of Commerce and signed up to the Shropshire Social Value Charter and are always interested in talking to other businesses and organisations to see what partnership working we can come up with to help improve mental health across Telford. Get in touch if you’d like to talk.
